Meta Ads Agency for Fashion Brands That Have Outgrown Boosted Posts

Facebook and Instagram are still where most fashion brands meet their next customer. Since Meta’s Andromeda update, the creative decides who sees your ads — so we build the creative and the campaigns together.

What does a Meta ads agency do for fashion brands?

A Meta ads agency plans, creates and runs Facebook and Instagram ads. For a fashion brand that means feeding Meta’s delivery system genuinely different concepts — personas, angles and formats — structuring campaigns so best sellers don’t starve new arrivals, keeping tracking clean, and reading results net of returns every week.

Who It’s For

We’re a fit if

  • You sell apparel, footwear, jewelry or accessories direct to consumer, usually on Shopify.
  • You’re past $1M in revenue — or close — and have products people buy again.
  • You’re ready to test new creative every month, not run the same five ads all year.

Not a fit if

  • You want one hero ad and no testing.
  • Your margins can’t pay for a new customer yet.
  • You only want boosted posts on autopilot.

What you get every month

Everything We Run, Every Month

  1. 01

    Advantage+ sales campaigns

Meta’s automated sales campaigns, set up around your margins and catalog — with clear guardrails so automation works for the business, not just the dashboard.

  2. 02

    Catalog and collection ads

Catalog ads (Meta now calls them ads with product media) and collection ads built on a clean catalog with sizes, colors and product sets — so shoppers see the right variant, even across hundreds of SKUs.

  3. 03

    Creative testing

New hooks, angles and formats every month, planned as persona × angle hypotheses instead of random variations of one ad.

  4. 04

    Partnership ads with creators

Creator and customer content run from their own handles, so the social proof travels with the ad.

  5. 05

Conversions API and pixel on Shopify

Browser and server-side tracking set up and checked, so Ads Manager and Shopify tell the same story.

  6. 06

    New arrivals vs. best sellers

Budget rules that give new drops a fair test without starving the products that already sell.

  7. 07

    Retention and winback

Ads for past customers timed around drops, restocks and the moments they usually buy again.

  8. 08

    Returns-aware reporting

A weekly read by persona and angle, with ROAS and MER shown net of returns.

Why fashion is different

How Fashion Is Different On Meta

Meta automates most of the targeting now. For fashion brands, that moves the work into creative, catalog and measurement.

  • The creative is the targeting

Meta’s Andromeda retrieval engine picks which ads each person could see from a large pool. Genuinely different concepts — persona, message, format — give it more ways to find buyers than ten edits of one ad.

  • Sizes, colors and variants

Catalog quality decides whether a shopper sees the dress in their size and color, or a sold-out variant.

  • Drops and seasons

Fashion runs on launches. Tests are timed to your calendar, with seasonal pushes like Black Friday planned weeks ahead — see our Black Friday playbook.

  • Returns change the math

Gross ROAS flatters any category with high returns. We read results net of returns, so you scale what actually stays sold.

How we run it

How We Run Meta Ads With The MoonDesk Scaling Method

We build every account around persona × angle testing: we define the customer personas, match each one with the angles most likely to persuade them, and test those concepts in Meta’s Andromeda-era delivery system, iterating every week on what the data shows.

See the full method
  1. Week 1

Research and the persona × angle plan: reviews, comments, store data. Tracking and catalog audit.

  2. Weeks 2–4

The first round of concepts goes live in a clean test structure — different personas, angles and formats.

  3. Month 2 →

Weekly reads by persona and angle. Winners get new executions, losers get cut, the next round gets written.

Example

Same dress, two personas: the occasion shopper sees a “three ways to wear it” styling video; the capsule minimalist sees a close-up on fabric, fit and care. Two different concepts — not two edits of one ad.

How MESSAGE Footwear More Than Doubled Its Sales

MESSAGE Footwear started working with us in February 2026. We scaled their Meta and Google ads, then activated Pinterest and TikTok — every platform running on the same persona × angle tests.

FAQ

Meta Ads For Fashion Brands: FAQ

Still curious? Book a strategy session with Hugo

How much should a clothing brand spend on Meta ads?

A clothing brand should set its Meta budget backwards from its revenue goal and its break-even ROAS, not from a flat percentage. The budget also has to let each new concept get a fair read: Meta says ad sets usually exit the learning phase after about 50 results in the week after the last significant edit.

What ROAS is good for fashion on Facebook?

There is no universal good ROAS for fashion on Facebook. A good ROAS is one above your break-even ROAS — sale price divided by profit before ads — measured net of returns. Our free ROAS calculator works it out from your margins and return rate.

Are Instagram ads worth it for fashion brands?

Instagram ads are usually worth it for fashion brands, because fashion is bought visually and Instagram is part of the same Meta ad system as Facebook. Most fashion brands run both together and let Meta place ads across Feed, Stories and Reels, with creative made for each format.

What changed with Meta Andromeda?

Andromeda is the system Meta introduced in late 2024 to choose which ads could be shown to each person — narrowing tens of millions of ads to a few thousand candidates. For fashion brands it means variety matters: concepts that differ by persona, message and format give Meta more ways to find new buyers than small tweaks to one ad.

How many creatives does a fashion brand need per month on Meta?

Meta publishes no magic number. It asks for a wide variety of diverse creative assets and warns that too many ads can hurt performance — fewer ads per ad set, each with several assets. What matters is how many genuinely different concepts you test, by persona, angle and format. We plan a round of new concepts each month and iterate weekly on the winners.

Do you run Instagram Shopping ads?

Yes, where it helps. In the US, Instagram product tags and Shops ads still work, but checkout on Facebook and Instagram is no longer supported — shoppers complete the purchase on your website. We set up shops and product tags so they send buyers straight to your store.

Do you make the ad creative too?

Yes. MoonDesk’s in-house creative team makes the static, motion and video ads and briefs creators for UGC, so every concept is built to test a specific persona and angle.
