Paid media for fashion brands

Amazon Ads for Fashion Brands

If your brand sells on Amazon, shoppers search for you there whether you advertise or not. The question is who shows up first — you, or a look-alike.

What does an Amazon ads agency do for fashion brands?

An Amazon ads agency runs Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and display ads (formerly Sponsored Display). For fashion brands that means defending your brand name, structuring campaigns around product lines and size and color variations, and planning Amazon alongside your other ads so channels stop taking credit for each other’s sales.

Who It’s For

We’re a fit if

  • Your brand already sells on Amazon, or is about to.
  • Shoppers search for your brand name there — and competitors bid on it.
  • You want Amazon planned together with your direct-to-consumer ads.

Not a fit if

  • You don’t sell on Amazon and don’t plan to.
  • Your listings, images and reviews need fixing first.
  • You want Amazon run in isolation from everything else.

What you get every month

Everything We Run, Every Month

  1. 01

    Sponsored Products

Ads for individual listings in Amazon search, organized by product line and search intent.

  2. 02

    Sponsored Brands

Your logo, headline and a selection of products at the top of search — for brand defense and collection launches.

  3. 03

    Display ads

Amazon’s display ads (formerly Sponsored Display): retargeting and product-page placements that keep shoppers from leaving for a look-alike.

  4. 04

    Brand defense vs. growth

Brand, category and competitor terms kept in separate campaigns and measured separately.

  5. 05

    Variation-aware structure

Campaigns built around how your sizes and colors are grouped on Amazon, so budget goes to variants that convert.

  6. 06

    One plan, one story

Amazon planned alongside Meta, Google and TikTok — so channels stop taking credit for each other’s sales.

Why fashion is different

How Fashion Is Different On Amazon

On Amazon, fashion shoppers compare fast — sizes, reviews and price side by side.

  • Sizes and variations

How sizes and colors are grouped decides which variant shows up, and whether reviews are shared across them.

  • Reviews and returns

Fit-related reviews and returns shape conversion more than almost anything an ad can say.

  • Look-alikes everywhere

Cheaper copies bid on your brand name. Brand defense is not optional.

  • Repeat purchases

Basics and staples get reordered on Amazon — worth keeping visible.

How we run it

How We Run Amazon Ads With The MoonDesk Scaling Method

We build every account around persona × angle testing: we define the customer personas, match each one with the angles most likely to persuade them, and test those concepts in Meta’s Andromeda-era delivery system, iterating every week on what the data shows.

See the full method
  1. Week 1

Account, listing and search-term audit; brand vs category vs competitor baseline.

  2. Weeks 2–4

New campaign structure live, split by intent and product line.

  3. Month 2 →

Weekly search-term reads, bid and budget moves, and creative tests on Sponsored Brands.

Example

Persona thinking applies to search terms: the gift buyer searches “leather heels gift for her”, the reorderer searches your brand name. Each gets its own campaign, budget and message.

Which platform does what

FAQ

Amazon Ads For Fashion Brands: FAQ

Still curious? Book a strategy session with Hugo

Should a DTC fashion brand advertise on Amazon?

A DTC fashion brand should advertise on Amazon if it already sells there, because shoppers search for the brand on Amazon whether or not it advertises — and competitors can bid on that search. If the brand doesn’t sell on Amazon, there is nothing to advertise.

Do I need Amazon Brand Registry to advertise?

For sellers, Sponsored Brands and display ads require Amazon Brand Registry, which needs a pending or registered trademark. Sponsored Products does not — a professional seller account and an eligible offer are enough. Vendors work under different rules.

Sponsored Products vs Sponsored Brands: what’s the difference?

Sponsored Products promote individual listings in search results and on product pages. Sponsored Brands show your logo, a headline and several products, usually at the top of search — useful for brand defense and launching a collection.

Will Amazon ads cannibalize my Shopify store?

Some shoppers will buy on Amazon who might have bought from your store. Planning both together — and keeping brand and non-brand campaigns separate — shows which sales are new and which simply moved.

How do you measure Amazon ads alongside Meta and Google?

We read Amazon results in the same weekly report as your other channels and compare them with your blended sales, so no channel takes credit for a sale another one drove.

Do you manage Amazon listings too?

We focus on Amazon advertising and flag listing issues that hold ads back — images, titles, variations, reviews — so your team or Amazon partner can fix them.
